Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and review HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems based on project specifications and applicable standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.). Prepare mechanical design calculations, BOQs, and technical submittals. Evaluate and approve shop drawings and material submittals. Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. Conduct site visits to monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Identify and resolve technical issues at site in coordination with the construction team. Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental guidelines. Support procurement and vendor selection by evaluating mechanical equipment and reviewing specifications. Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). 3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design or site execution (MEP field preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, or similar mechanical design software. Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
