Job Title: Junior Mechanical Technician Department: Maintenance / Engineering Reports To: Senior Mechanical Technician / Maintenance Supervisor

: We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Junior Mechanical Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems in a newly established industrial setup. This role is ideal for candidates with basic mechanical knowledge who are eager to learn and grow under the guidance of senior technicians.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation and alignment of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment (e.g., conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes). Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, inspection, tightening of bolts, and cleaning of parts. Support senior technicians during mechanical repairs and overhauls. Help in assembling/disassembling mechanical components and systems. Learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics. Report mechanical issues or abnormalities to supervisors promptly. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop and plant areas. Follow company safety procedures and use PPE properly during maintenance work. Participate in preventive maintenance schedules and keep basic records/logs.

Requirements: Technical Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance (freshers with internship/training experience can apply). Basic understanding of mechanical tools, fittings, and systems. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff. Good physical condition and ability to work in industrial environments. Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in industrial settings.

Preferred: Experience in a newly established factory, plant, or industrial project will be an advantage. Exposure to mechanical work in manufacturing, tobacco, food processing, or FMCG industries.
