We are looking for a CAD Technician who plays a crucial role in the design and development process by translating conceptual ideas and specifications into detailed and accurate drawings that can be used for production, construction, or further analysis.

Responsibilities:

Preparing Architectural CAD drawings as per Engineering and Client requirements. Produce 2D and 3D drawings, models, and layouts based on project requirements. Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, and schematics using CAD software. Executing amendments to prepared drawings taking into account any changes/modifications on initial design. Identify and resolve design issues, discrepancies, and errors that arise during the drafting process. Propose solutions to improve design efficiency and functionality. Managing the different versions of the design drawings and ensure they are controlled in a sequential reference environment. Maintain organized records of design changes versions, and iterations. Update and document revisions to ensure a comprehensive design history. Maintaining log of drawings of all relevant design projects as per QMS and/or project requirements. Assisting Senior Landscape Architect with regard to information required, project progress, and any potential delays. Review and verify own work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications. Ensure that dimensions, materials, and design details are correct. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or industry-specific tools to create design or similar. Stay updated on software features and techniques to enhance productivity.
Requirements:

Associate degree or diploma in computer-aided drafting and design, engineering technology, or related field. Proficiency in relevant CAD software and tools. Strong technical aptitude and mathematical skills. Attention to detail and precision in design work. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Problem-solving abilities to identify and address design challenges. Understanding of industry standards and design principles. Time management skills to meet project deadlines. Adaptability and willingness to learn new software and techniques. Prior experience in a CAD-related role is a plus
