Job description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented jr. inventory controller to oversee our company\'s inventory management. In this position, you will play a key role in coordinating orders and deliveries, conducting routine inventory audits and analyses, and predicting supply and demand requirements to maintain steady stock levels. Success in this role requires a high level of organization and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management software and practices. An exceptional inventory controller should have the capability to precisely forecast inventory needs and demonstrate outstanding logistical skills. Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and restocking inventory levels as required.
- Creating and implementing systems and practices for effective inventory control.
- Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to negotiate and ensure the quality of stock purchases.
- Managing the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
- Predicting supply and demand needs to guarantee stock availability.
- Overseeing inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
- Analyzing and resolving issues identified in supply chain data.
- Generating reports on purchases, pricing, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems.
- Conducting regular stock checks and promptly reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Keeping purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records up to date and well-maintained.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Odoo software or other ERP systems
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy weights
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- A bachelor\'s degree is preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
