We conduct pottery workshops, corporate events, private celebrations, kids' birthday parties, and unique hands-on experiences. We are looking for a talented, organised, and creative individual to join our team and contribute to the artistic identity and smooth functioning of our studio.
Position Overview
We are seeking an In-House Interior Designer & Studio Coordinator who will work closely with the creative and operations team to maintain the visual aesthetics of the studio, design unique interior pieces, and support the planning and organisation of various studio activities.
The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and excellent at communication and coordination. This role will act as a bridge between the marketing team, design team, ceramists, and instructors to ensure everything flows smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interior Design & Creative Development
Maintain and enhance the overall look and feel of the studio interior.
Create unique design concepts (furniture, decor elements, displays, installations, etc.) to be produced by in-house ceramists.
Develop design mockups, mood boards, and creative presentations.
Support seasonal decor updates, workshop themes, and visual storytelling inside the studio.
2. Studio Coordination & Organisation
Ensure the studio environment is tidy, organised, visually appealing, and prepared for daily workshops.
Coordinate with instructors for workshop setup, material availability, and studio readiness.
Oversee studio maintenance and ensure smooth on-ground operations.
3. Event Support & Management
Assist in planning and organising studio events such as:
Corporate team-building workshops
Birthday parties
Private events and celebrations
Coordinate event decor, layout, and creative arrangements.
Act as on-ground support during large group bookings or special events.
4. Communication & Cross-Department Coordination
Act as the point of contact between:
Marketing department
Ceramist/design team
Studio instructors
Assist marketing team with visual content ideas, interior shots, and design-based campaigns.
Ensure all creative outputs align with the studio's brand identity.
5. Client Interaction & Relationship Management
Welcome clients warmly and ensure they have a pleasant studio experience.
Understand customer needs and provide input suggestions when required.
Maintain excellent communication and support throughout events or workshops.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field.
Strong creative thinking and visual design skills.
Ability to conceptualise and create design pieces that can be translated into ceramic artworks.
Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Ability to multitask and manage studio activities efficiently.
Experience in event coordination or hospitality is a plus.
Knowledge of basic design tools (Photoshop/Illustrator/SketchUp/Canva) is preferred but not mandatory.
