Job Description

Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Expert level in using ACAD software.

Profile:

As an HVAC draughtsman you will be responsible for preparing detailed technical shop drawings for HVAC systems in villas, buildings, warehouses etc. Your expertise will ensure the HVAC systems are designed and installed efficiently, and in compliance with relevant authority regulations. Shall have strong knowledge of DX, VRF, Chilled water systems and an HVAC background.

Key responsibilities:

??Create detailed HVAC shop drawings using ACAD and other software. ??Review the project technical specifications and requirements before preparing the shop drawings. ??Preparing ESP calculations, pump head calculations, quantity take-offs, preparing
BOQ, and assisting the estimation team in various tasks.

??Candidates who are able to use HAP software, Carrier/Daikin equipment selection software, for selecting AC equipment will have an added advantage. ??Collaborate with engineers, other MEP services and trades, to ensure accuracy of shop drawings, compliance with site requirements and completeness of the shop drawings.
Skills:

??Proficiency in ACAD software. ??Shall have ability to work independently, produce shop drawings under tight project timelines and work under pressure. ??Shall be able to use HAP software and carry out cooling load calculations. ??Strong knowledge of various HVAC systems, including detailed design of ducting, VRF refrigerant piping, Chilled water piping system, and smoke ventilation systems. ??Shall have good communication skills. ??Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings and plans. ??Knowledge of local authority regulations.
