Junior QHSE Engineer

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures tailored to logistics and moving operations. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and hazard analyses for warehouses, transportation activities, and client sites. Monitor compliance with UAE labor laws, municipal HSE regulations, and relevant ISO or OSHA standards. Deliver regular training and toolbox talks for drivers, porters, packers, and office staff on safety best practices. Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports and implement corrective actions. Inspect vehicles, lifting equipment, and warehouses for safety compliance. Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Civil Defense, Municipality, MOHRE) for inspections, permits, and audits. Lead emergency response planning and conduct regular drills. Keep HSE documentation, reports, and records in line with internal audit and certification requirements
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field (

OSHAD Practitioner Certification

(Preferred) Minimum 1-5 years of hands-on HSE experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or relocation industries. ADNOC project experience is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and labor laws. Excellent communication skills in English (Hindi or Tamil is a plus). Competent in report writing, risk analysis, and audit handling. Valid UAE Driving License (Preferred)
