Role and Responsibilities: To support the Country Manager and Regional HR Business Partner in implementing the company HR & Training strategy and initiatives.
Provide managers with the necessary tools and knowledge to manage their people in line with our performance management guidelines; providing constructive feedback, career growth guidance
Contribute to the development of the wider HR strategy and work closely with the station manager and Regional HR Team to ensure consistent and coordinated services across the station
Partner with the station manager and functional heads to identify and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes, resulting in a proper manpower plan
Lead the implementation of the manpower plan and ensure vacancies are managed and filled in line with the approved budget and executed as per the Talent Acquisition process
Drive the front-line hiring process specially during peak season
Provide market insights on talent, engagement trends to ensure Aramex Oman is an employer of choice
Drive the Employer Brand locally
Define and lead projects based on business needs related to reward and recognition plans, employee engagement plans and compensation and benefits
Run employee engagement surveys and generate an action plan to close the gaps identified from the survey
Lead the performance management and talent development processes including setting individual KPIs, performance appraisals, succession planning, IDPs, Future Leaders Pipeline
Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and continue to reflect both up-to-date employment law and best practice.
Work closely with the Regional HRBP and Country Manager to analyze market benchmark and make recommendations on best market practices
Manage day-to-day activities and employee relations at the station level – grievance, company policy and labor law adherence and
Partner with the Union and sustain a positive & transparent relationship
Qualifications, Skills and Educational Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field
Experience managing the relationship with the General Federation of Oman Union
Solid practical experience and full understanding of the local labor law
People management experience.
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
Able to prioritize and properly manage workload
Proficient in MS Office
