Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior GIS Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to perform on a range of projects with GIS data management knowledge in Master Planning and Infrastructure &Utilities design.
What You\'ll Be Doing:
Perform GIS Data Conversion duties by applying basic GIS techniques and analyses within Master Planning, Infrastructure & Utilities discipline.
Under close supervision of GIS Manager, performs various Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technical support tasks.
Translates and inputs existing data into a common format, including hardcopy maps, topographical maps, site plans, electronic maps.
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in civil/Mechanical engineering from a reputable university
Minimum 3 years experience in GIS Data Management and Analysis
Hands-on experience in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Desktop in map making (cartography skills)
Preparation of GIS data / Editing / Migration etc.)
What Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:
Fluent in English with Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and report writing
A team player with proven ability to work under pressure/ multi tasks and meet the deadlines
Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None
