*Position Overview:* As a Junior Florist, you will assist in creating and arranging floral designs for various occasions such as weddings, parties, funerals, and everyday arrangements. You will work under the supervision of senior florists, learning essential skills and techniques in floral design and customer service. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of flowers, foliage, and other floral materials. 2. Learning and applying basic floral design techniques such as bouquet assembly, corsage making, and centerpiece arrangement. 3. Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering inquiries both in-person and over the phone. 4. Cleaning and maintaining work areas, including processing flowers, organizing supplies, and keeping display areas neat and tidy. 5. Assisting in inventory management, including receiving deliveries, restocking supplies, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness. 6. Participating in special projects and events such as floral installations, workshops, and seasonal promotions. 7. Following health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of customers and colleagues. *Qualifications:* 1. High school diploma or equivalent; floral design or horticulture education is a plus. 2. Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred. 3. Basic knowledge of floral design principles and techniques. 4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required. 7.
