Junior Estimator for Joinery

We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator for Joinery to support our estimation team in delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out and joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for joinery and fit-out projects. Review project drawings, specifications, and other documents to understand project requirements. Support the Estimation Manager in gathering data from suppliers and subcontractors for accurate pricing. Help maintain and update a database of cost information, including material prices and market trends. Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure estimates align with project goals. Assist in evaluating suppliers and subcontractors based on cost, quality, and reliability. Support the preparation of cost estimation reports and proposals for review by senior management. Monitor project costs and provide updates to the estimation team as needed.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Other Qualifications:

Entry-level experience in estimation, joinery, or a related role within the construction or fit-out industry (internships or coursework projects acceptable). Basic knowledge of joinery processes, materials, and industry standards. Familiarity with estimation software and tools is a plus.
