to support our joinery division. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing detailed shop drawings, cutting lists, and material take-offs for custom joinery works, while learning and growing under the guidance of senior designers and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings for custom joinery items such as doors, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, wall claddings, counters, etc.
Assist in developing accurate cutting lists and material quantity take-offs.
Modify and update existing drawings based on client or engineer feedback.
Coordinate with design, estimation, and production teams to ensure drawing accuracy and feasibility.
Ensure drawings are compliant with project specifications and standards.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing files.
Conduct site measurements and support senior draughtsman as required.
Requirements:
Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Drafting, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out drawings (freshers with good technical skills may be considered).
Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
Basic understanding of joinery materials, finishes, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of 3D software such as SketchUp or Revit is a plus.
Familiarity with site execution practices and coordination with production teams.
