About the Role
As a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst - Operations, you will support the Operations and Finance teams by, cleaning data, Administrating, producing accurate reports, dashboards, and analysis that help the business understand performance, revenue, and operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone early in their data or analytics career who wants hands-on exposure to financial services data, reporting processes, and real business decision-making. Youll work closely with experienced analysts and stakeholders while developing strong technical and commercial skills.

What Youll Be Doing

• Supporting the creation and maintenance of dashboards and standard reports for Operations and Finance

• Writing and improving SQL queries to extract and analyse operational and financial data

• Assisting with ETL processes and basic data transformations

• Helping ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports

• Investigating data issues and supporting reconciliations when figures dont align

• Producing ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions

• Working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs

• Supporting month-end and periodic reporting processes

• Documenting data definitions, logic, and reporting processes

• Learning and contributing to improvements in reporting automation and efficiency

What Youll Bring

• 1-2 years experience in a data, reporting, analytics, or operations role (or a relevant degree with strong practical skills)

• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge

• Experience using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

• Comfortable working with Excel and structured datasets

• Strong attention to detail and a logical, analytical mindset

• Willingness to learn and take feedback

• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues

Even Better If

• Exposure to financial services, operations, or transactional data

• Some experience with Python or automation

• Understanding of basic financial concepts (fees, revenue, balances, reporting periods)

• Experience working with CRM systems
