Job Summary

: The Junior Barista will be an integral part of the service team, responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of specialty coffee beverages to the highest standard. This role requires a strong eagerness to learn, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to providing genuinely warm and professional customer service that aligns with the cafe's luxury brand.

Responsibilities

:

Skillfully prepare and serve all menu items, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, teas, and non-coffee beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes. Maintain an in-depth understanding of coffee bean varieties, roasts, and grinding techniques to ensure the highest quality of every cup. Provide warm, personalized, and efficient service to all guests, addressing inquiries and orders with professionalism and a positive attitude, suitable for a luxury environment. Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the espresso machine, grinders, brewing equipment, and counter areas, following Saudi Arabia's strict food safety and hygiene standards. Assist the Head Barista with monitoring and restocking coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, and supplies, reporting low stock promptly. Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance. Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues to ensure smooth service operations. Actively learn about new menu items, coffee origins, and seasonal offerings to engage customers and offer informed recommendations. Consistently uphold the cafe's luxury aesthetic, service protocols, and brand image as required in a high-end Saudi Arabian hospitality setting.

Qualifications

:

Prior experience (1+ years) in a fast-paced cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred, though entry-level candidates with a strong passion for coffee will be considered. Fluency in English is required; conversational Arabic is a significant advantage. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills suited for high-touch customer service. Must be legally eligible to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Proven ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation under pressure. Must possess a positive, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor, with a commitment to a neat and well-groomed professional appearance appropriate for a luxury setting.
