to assist our finance department with daily accounting tasks, data entry, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle basic accounting functions under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and maintaining accounting records, reports, and financial statements.
Record daily transactions in accounting software (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support in accounts payable and receivable management.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and invoices.
Help prepare VAT reports and other government filings.
Coordinate with auditors and management for accounting queries.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (fresh graduates may also apply).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with UAE VAT and local accounting standards (if in UAE).
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Time management and multitasking ability.
