Role Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented Shop Accountant to manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail or e-commerce accounting and a solid understanding of local tax and audit regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software Handle journal entries and assist with monthly payroll Reconcile accounts, including inter-branch transactions Prepare financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis Support the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other reports Ensure compliance with UAE tax and audit laws
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail or e-commerce Prior audit experience is required Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, or Tally) Strong skills in Excel and financial analysis Familiarity with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations Excellent communication and time management skills Willing to relocate within the UAE if needed
