Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist with daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate has foundational accounting knowledge, proficiency in accounting software, and a strong commitment to compliance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and transaction recording in ledgers (e.g., general ledger, AP/AR).
• Assist in preparing financial reports, bank reconciliations, and audit documentation.
• Process accounts payable (vendor invoices, payments) and accounts receivable (invoicing, collections).
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Support month-end/year-end closing procedures.
• Verify expense reports and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with senior accountants to analyze financial data.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as needed.

• Education: Associate/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of accounting experience (internship/work experience accepted).
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and compliance.
