Role Summary

Seagull HVAC Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Junior Accountant

to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in maintaining our financial health by managing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring our vendors and technicians are supported through accurate financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, essential industry.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Process vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, and follow up on outstanding customer balances.

Data Entry:

Maintain accurate records in our accounting software, ensuring all HVAC service orders and equipment purchases are coded correctly.

Bank Reconciliation:

Assist with daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Month-End Support:

Assist in preparing financial statements and schedules for monthly and year-end closings.

Expense Management:

Review and process employee expense reports and fleet-related costs (fuel, maintenance).

Compliance:

Support the team in preparing for audits and ensuring tax compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

0-2 years of accounting experience (internships count!).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and familiarity with accounting software (knowledge of FOCUS accounting software is preferred ).

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills for interacting with both office staff and field technicians.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
