Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, basic knowledge of accounting procedures, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience working in the UAE will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, reports, and records. Handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of cash balances. Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Collaborate with senior accountants and finance team to prepare financial reports and analyses. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations and company policies. Manage and track company expenses and assist in budgeting processes. Support internal and external audits as required. Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Previous experience in a similar role in the UAE is highly preferred. Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and accounting standards (e.g., VAT) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Pay: Up to AED4,500.00 per month
