, with strong knowledge of daily accounting operations, year-end closing, and bank payment preparation.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and supporting management with timely and reliable financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily transactions and maintain the general ledger.
Prepare supplier payments through online banking and ensure proper approvals.
Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
Assist in
month-end and year-end closing
activities.
Perform
bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
.
Prepare and issue client invoices and follow up on collections.
Support VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE FTA regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all accounting files are properly organized.
Coordinate with procurement, HR, and project departments for accounting-related matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years
of accounting experience in the
construction or fit-out industry
(UAE experience preferred).
Proficiency in
QuickBooks
,
Excel
, and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of
VAT
and
corporate tax
procedures.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
