Zahr Freighters is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Accountant
to join our finance team inDubai
. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while supporting the financial operations of a growing logistics organization.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounts. Support the preparation of invoices, vouchers, and expense reports. Record daily financial transactions and update accounting systems. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow. Assist senior accountants with audits, reports, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; accounting software knowledge is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
