Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system Assist in preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records Perform regular bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations Support month-end and year-end closing activities Prepare basic financial reports and schedules for management review Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records Coordinate with internal departments for invoice verification and approvals Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and VAT requirements


Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred) Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting Hands-on experience with

Zoho ERP and/or QuickBooks

Strong proficiency in

Microsoft Excel

(including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred (Optional):

Part-qualified

ACCA / CA / CMA

Basic knowledge of

UAE VAT accounting and compliance
