Junior Accountant
to join our finance team in
Dubai
. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting principles who are looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
Help with VAT filings and compliance tasks
Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reviews
Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and reporting
Support senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing activities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-2 years of accounting experience (logistics sector preferred)
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
Basic understanding of UAE financial regulations and VAT
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team
Good communication and organizational abilities
