Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records. You will play a key role in supporting the financial health of the company.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate records. Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly coded and categorized. Assist with the month-end closing process, including general ledger maintenance, accruals, and journal entries. Generate accurate and timely financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for cost savings and improvement. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial data. Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations. May participate in audits or tax preparation with external professionals (depending on company size). Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with

Quick Books

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (or actively pursuing).

Experience in the

accounting industry

is a plus.
