About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage financial records and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations Prepare and file VAT returns and manage VAT-related documentation Handle corporate tax planning and compliance under the UAE Corporate Tax framework Generate financial reports and statements Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes Perform financial analysis to support decision-making Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting roles with progressive responsibility Strong knowledge of UAE VAT system and the new Corporate Tax framework Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis) Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking Strong communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

Malayalam

language proficiency highly desired Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, etc.) Experience working in the UAE financial environment

Technical Skills

Advanced Excel skills (required) Experience with financial reporting and analysis Adaptability to learn our proprietary accounting system (specific accounting software experience not required)
