Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Junior Accountant

to support the finance and accounts team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a keen interest in working in a tech-driven environment, particularly within ERP systems. This role is key to ensuring accurate financial data and supporting ERP implementation activities from an accounting perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer payments Support monthly closing activities including accruals and reconciliations Prepare basic financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for review Assist with GST/VAT filings, tax calculations, and compliance documentation Coordinate with internal departments during ERP financial module implementations Support data entry and migration during ERP system setup Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records Respond to audit requests and help compile necessary documents Help identify gaps and suggest improvements in financial workflows within ERP

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-2 years of accounting experience (ERP environment preferred) Familiarity with accounting software (ERPNext, Odoo, QuickBooks, Tally, etc.) Basic knowledge of tax regulations (e.g., GST/VAT) Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets Attention to detail, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic Good communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to ERP implementation projects or system migrations Knowledge of cost center accounting and multi-branch setups Hands-on experience in generating and validating financial reports from ERP systems

Candidates on dependent visa will be given preference

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED3,500.00 per month
