Junior Accountant

Job Description
IIQAF is searching for an organized and reliable Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will help manage financial reporting, ledger posting and reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all our financial records. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to work independently in a timely and efficient manner.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable activities and provide necessary supporting documents.
- Prepare and enter daily journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist in handling the day-to-day cash management activities and monitor the cash flow position.
- Perform daily banking activities and ensure that all payments are posted accurately and accurately
- Assist in auditing accounts and managing credit notes and debit notes.
- Monitor month-end closing activities of accounts and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company finance policies and procedures.
- Minimum 1-2 years of related accounting experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Access).
- Knowledge with financial reporting software (e.g. QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and self-motivated with strong follow-up skills.
