Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Accountant to assist our Finance team in managing financial records, HR and admin tasks of our event management company. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform other admin, HR and accounting-related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the overall accounting activities and manage accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely payments and collections.
Perform account reconciliations with suppliers/ vendors and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Monitor and analyze financial transactions and highlight any discrepancies or issues to the finance team.
Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
Assist with annual audits, maintain an effective filing system, and ensure that all financial records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure financial transactions are properly reflected in accounting records.
Other admin and HR related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficient in MS Office and Tally accounting software.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both oral and written.
Knowledge of tax laws and regulations in the Middle East is preferred.

Working days: Mon- Fri but closer to the events employee may be required to work extra hours or work on the weekends for which employee shall be compensated.
