Job Description
Sweetgard Holdings is looking for a junior accountant who will be responsible for assisting the finance operations team. The junior accountant will work under the guidance of the senior accountant to ensure all financial obligations are met accurately and efficiently.
In this role, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn, develop, and grow within the finance team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, organized and have a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial reports, including profits & losses, balance sheets, cash flows, budgets, variance analysis and forecasting
- Assisting with journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, accounts payable/receivable and the overall general ledger
- Assisting in the performance of any audit-related activities
- Utilize accounting software to input, manage and analyze financial data
- Respond to questions from internal stakeholders and coworkers
- Share best practices and offer creative solutions to accounting problems
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience with general ledger processing, creating and analyzing financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and intermediate experience with accounting software preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
