About Us Firnas Shuman is a renewable energy consulting and technical services firm. We provide our services around the world with the focus on Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Each request that comes to us from clients is unique and the success of turning these requests into awarded projects depends on the quality of proposals that we submit. Job Key Functions
- Bookkeeping - recording of assets, liability, revenue and expenses
- Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling transactions
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Control and count petty cash, and prepare Journal Entries (cash in, cash out recordings)
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate/complete and immediately available when needed
- Handle daily cash and treasury
- Control purchase costs
- Electronic invoices
- Track receivables
- Have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field
- Good and proven analytical skills, Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel & Word
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment
- is personable and genuinely enjoys dealing with people;
- has excellent communication skills;
- is able to work under pressure
