Job Title: Junior Accountant

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Junior Accountant to join our finance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and financial management. This individual will play a key role in managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations within the UAE.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing financial statements. Input and update financial transactions. Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, credit card, etc.). Manage accounts payable/receivable. Support internal and external audits. Process and review employee expense reports. Assist with tax preparation and filings. Help monitor budgets and expenditures. Maintain accurate financial records. Support senior accountants with daily tasks.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a focus on real estate. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Solid understanding of UAE accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), tax regulations, and industry practices. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
