Position: Junior Accountant
Location: Ajman
Salary: upto AED 5000
Experience :
2-3 years in accounting (Manufacturing industry experience preferred).
Key Skills & Requirements:
1. Basic understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT law
2. Proficiency in ERP systems (ODDO preferred)
3. Strong skills in MS Office applications
4. Ability to manage accounts efficiently and accurately
5. Proficiency in English is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Posting and processing journal entries to ensure accurate transaction recording
2. Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations
3. Managing petty cash expenses and maintaining proper records
4. Keeping detailed records of supplier and customer invoices
5. Preparing and maintaining physical VAT records
6. Coordinating with suppliers for invoice submission
7. Gathering payroll data, passing entries in books, and preparing reconciliations
8. Maintaining accounts payable and ensuring proper invoice format and authorization
