We are seeking an Accounts Assistant who can handle the below responsibilities with the specified qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare/Assist in financial statements and reports.
Support monthly closing and reconciliation of accounts.
Handle invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
Support internal and external audits as needed.
Handle petty cash and process employee expense claims.
Coordinate with operations, suppliers, aggregators etc. for payments and receivables.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Knowledge of UAE VAT and general financial regulations.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently
