Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, VAT compliance, intercompany transactions, project costing, and administrative support to the finance and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Petty Cash Management: Preparing, handling, and entering petty cash transactions. Maintaining accurate petty cash records and reconciliations. Accounts Payable (A/P): Recording supplier invoices in the accounting system. Performing A/P reconciliations. Preparing payment lists for due invoices. Accounts Receivable (A/R): Preparing, delivering, and entering sales invoices. Reconciling customer balances. Following up on outstanding receivables and coordinating collections. Intercompany Transactions: Recording intercompany transactions. Preparing and issuing intercompany invoices. Performing regular intercompany account reconciliations. General HR & Admin activities Assisting with the recording and tracking of project-related costs. General assistance on day to day HR and payroll activities. Site Support: Supporting the preparation of site staff timesheets and related finance documentation. VAT Compliance: Verifying the VAT accuracy of all incoming and outgoing invoices. Assisting with the preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting softwares and MS Office. Solid understanding of accounting principles and VAT regulations. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
