Job Title: Junior Accountant - Healthcare Facility

Location: Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Working Days: 6 days a week

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our healthcare facility located on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, and support various financial functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the recording and reporting of financial data, revenue cycle management, claims analysis, and coordination with insurance companies. This role also includes assisting in payroll calculations and managing revenue share and commission calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

Recording to Reporting:

Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Prepare financial statements and management reports for review.

Revenue Cycle Management:

Monitor the facility's billing and collection process.

Ensure the timely and accurate posting of all revenue-related transactions.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing and collections.

Claims Analysis and Insurance Coordination:

Analyze and follow up on claims with insurance companies to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements.

Coordinate with the insurance department to resolve issues related to rejected claims.

Track and report outstanding claims, ensuring compliance with healthcare and insurance policies.

Payroll Assistance & Revenue Share/Commission Calculation:

Assist the payroll team in preparing payroll reports and processing salaries.

Calculate revenue share and commissions for doctors, therapists, and other staff as per agreed terms.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Process invoices, payments, and receipts.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and from clients.

General Accounting Tasks:

Assist in preparing VAT filings and ensuring tax compliance.

Support audit preparations and assist in responding to audit queries.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation and files.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

ACCA Finalist / CA Finalist will be preferred.

Previous experience in healthcare accounting is an advantage.

Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.

Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with insurance companies and internal teams.

Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
