Job Title Junior Accountant

Description

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company's finances. The duties include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing a company's accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. Brief job description of the role includes, but not limited to:

• Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Significant 3 to 4 years of work experience as an internal auditor and as an Accountant.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
