Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing ingredients, doughs, batters, and fillings according to recipes
Support baking of breads, pastries, and other bakery items
Follow standard recipes, portion control, and production schedules
Assist in decorating and finishing baked products when required
Ensure proper use and cleaning of baking equipment and tools
Maintain cleanliness of workstations in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Follow HACCP, food safety, and company policies at all times
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing raw materials properly
Report any equipment issues, spoilage, or quality concerns to the supervisor
Support senior bakers during peak production periods
Qualifications & Skills:
Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Ability to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Good time management and teamwork skills
Physically fit to stand for long hours and lift baking materials
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
Education & Experience:
Certificate or basic training in baking or culinary arts is an advantage
Freshers are welcome; prior bakery or kitchen experience is a plus
