About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Jr. Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects from inception to completion.
Assist in the preparation and review of construction drawings and specifications
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress
Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project milestones are met
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and progress reports
Participate in site meetings and communicate effectively with contractors and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation
Support the team in resolving on-site technical issues and challenges
Contribute to the development and implementation of project schedules and budgets
Assist in quantity surveying and cost estimation tasks
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
0-2 years of experience in the construction or engineering field
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
Solid understanding of construction drawings and specifications
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
Basic understanding of construction methods and materials
Familiarity with site surveying techniques
Engineering Intern (EI) certification preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions
