Job Overview
The Financial Analyst will support GeoSoft's finance function by conducting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. With 5+ years of experience, the role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting decision-making, improving efficiency, and ensuring financial governance across projects and operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's or CFA/CPA preferred).
Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting software.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Knowledge of international accounting standards and financial best practices.
Experience
5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
Proven background in developing budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
Experience in project-based or multinational environments preferred.
Track record of supporting business strategy with financial insights.
Key Accountabilities & Attributes
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to support business decision-making.
Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
Support budgeting processes and ensure alignment with company strategy.
Monitor project and operational costs, ensuring financial discipline and governance.
Collaborate with leadership teams to provide financial insights for growth initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
