About the Role:
We are looking for qualified accounting professionals with a background in the jewelry industry to join our team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in jewelry-specific accounting practices and relevant software tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and journal entries
- Manage purchase, sales, and inventory records specific to jewelry items
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports
- Work closely with internal teams for billing and stock audits
- Maintain compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations (VAT etc.)
- Utilize jewelry-specific accounting software for smooth operations
- Support audit preparation and documentation
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in the jewelry industry
- Familiar with basic accounting principles and data entry
- Proficient in jewelry accounting software (e.g., Brinks, wingold , or similar)
- Experience in inventory management
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Accountant: AED 3,500 + Food + Accommodation
- Jr. Accountant: AED 2,800 + Food + Accommodation
