Job Title: Junior Accountant

Salary range - 3,500/- to 4,000/-

Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. This role supports the accounting department by ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, assisting in the month-end close process, and maintaining general ledger entries.

Key Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in accounting software. Prepare and maintain general ledger entries. Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including billing and invoicing. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements. Maintain organized accounting files and documentation for audits and reviews. Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies. Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments regarding financial transactions. Perform administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as required by the finance team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Familiarity with ERP systems. Experience in handling petty cash and expense reporting.
