Job Description

Key Accountabilities

Journey Experience Development Design aspirational end-to-end journeys and experiences for identified target segments as defined by the Tourism strategy in teams around each journey step (dream, book, arrival, in-destination mobility,...) Identify opportunities for new products and services development, and coordinate with Product Development to develop business cases and incentive mechanisms to push to travel & tourism ecosystem Identify required enhancements, and lead development of specific projects, measurements and/or initiatives for specific journey step Mobilize ecosystem for on-the-ground pilot testing and delivery of new experience initiatives Coordinate with relevant journey stakeholders and ecosystem, and Tourism working groups to ensure implementation of recommended enhancements that have been identified through measurements, journey labs and/or projects Support relevant stakeholders and external initiative owners in identifying and addressing implementation roadblocks Report on Journey projects and initiatives progress to Visitor Experience director and Strategic integration & planning section

Visitor Experience Design Lab Co-create end-to-end journey maps for identified target segments in cross-functional collaboration between relevant Tourism sector departments, stakeholders and Journey & experience development teams Work with the heads of core Journey Management teams and support in designing end-to-end journeys and journey maps for each segment and journey step Create, run and coordinate activities of a Visitor Experience journey lab, and manage journey lab facilities Organize industry & stakeholder events, and maintain calendar of Journey Lab events & workshops Run design sprints and workshops to develop innovative experiences and products for identified target segments within the Journey lab Build capabilities within the Visitor Experience teams by co-creating innovative experiences and sharing new ways of working

Critical Skills Well versed in the understanding of the development and Design of journeys & experiences. Strong Team Leadership Skills: ability to organize and manage teams in a way that best utilizes their strengths to enable the achievement of departmental objectives. Building relationships and interpersonal skills: ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors. Organizational understanding: has a broad understanding of the Government Entity's vision, mission and services offerings; responds to customer needs and contributes to achieving the Entity's goals. Problem-solving skills: ability to analyse problems, identify alternative solutions, anticipate consequences, and provide Excellence in execution: committed to deliver work with high standards of quality and excellence in order recommendations.

Expertise / Experience A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Tourism or relevant field

Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Media, Communication Management or Equivalent
