- Joinery Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced

Joinery Quantity Surveyor

to manage cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial activities for joinery and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of joinery materials, production methods, and project execution processes.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract / Estimation

Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to understand client requirements. Prepare accurate

quantity take-offs

for joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out elements. Develop detailed

BOQs, cost estimates, and tender submissions

. Source and obtain

material and subcontractor quotations

, negotiate pricing, and prepare comparison sheets. Identify design discrepancies and raise

RFIs

to consultants or clients. Maintain and update pricing database for materials, labor, and production costs.

Post-Contract / Commercial

Prepare and submit

valuations, variations, and claims

as per project progress. Monitor cost control throughout the project life cycle. Work closely with project managers to ensure commercial alignment with site progress. Evaluate subcontractor invoices and certify payments. Assist in project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Coordination & Documentation

Liaise with design, production, procurement, and site teams for material clarity and project updates. Maintain complete documentation of estimates, quotations, correspondence, and approvals. Ensure all commercial activities comply with company processes and client requirements.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience as a

Quantity Surveyor in Joinery / Interior Fit-Out

. Strong knowledge of joinery materials, production processes, and installation methods. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, PlanSwift

(or similar take-off software). Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
