Job Summary:

Responsible for managing

production schedules, leading the workshop team, ensuring high-quality standards, and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

Plan, schedule, and manage daily joinery production activities. Oversee workflow from design to fabrication and assembly. Ensure production targets, timelines, and quality standards are met.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and coordinate workshop staff including joiners, machinists, and finishers. Delegate tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training as needed. Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Quality Control:

Ensure all products meet technical specifications and client requirements. Conduct inspections and implement quality assurance protocols. Work closely with design and project teams to resolve technical issues.

Resource & Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels of raw materials and consumables. Liaise with suppliers and procurement for timely delivery of materials. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Health & Safety:

Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations in the workshop. Carry out risk assessments and ensure safe working practices.

Reporting & Communication:

Provide regular updates to senior management on production status, challenges, and improvements. Coordinate with project managers, designers, and installers for smooth project handovers.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a joinery or woodworking manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD designs. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
