POSITION : JOINERY PRODUCTION AND INSTALLATION SUPERVISOR

LOCATION : UM AL QUWAIN, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

Production Supervision:

Supervise all joinery production activities in the factory, ensuring work is carried out according to shop drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with planning and design departments to ensure seamless translation of drawings to production. Monitor workflow, allocate manpower, and ensure deadlines are met across multiple ongoing projects. Ensure machines, tools, and materials are used efficiently and maintained regularly.

Installation Supervision:

Lead the site installation team to execute high-quality joinery and fit-out works, ensuring alignment with project drawings, specifications, and client expectations. Conduct site inspections and assessments to prepare for installations, coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and other trades. Ensure all installation activities are carried out safely and within project timelines.

Team Management:

Manage and motivate a team of skilled joiners, carpenters, and installers across workshop and site environments. Monitor performance, provide training as needed, and maintain a positive and productive work culture. Enforce health and safety policies in both the workshop and project sites.

Coordination & Reporting:

Liaise with project managers, procurement teams, and clients to ensure materials and timelines are aligned. Track progress of production and installation works, identify bottlenecks, and provide solutions. Prepare daily and weekly reports on production status, workforce, and installation progress.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the

joinery and fit-out sector

, preferably in the UAE or GCC. Strong knowledge of joinery production processes, materials (e.g., MDF, veneer, solid wood), and finishing techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, joinery details, and site layouts. Proven experience in managing factory operations and coordinating site installations for premium interior projects. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and other local authority requirements for fit-out works. UAE driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or technical qualification in Carpentry, Joinery, Interior Design, or related field. Experience working on luxury residential, retail, or hospitality projects. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software for drawing reviews.
