Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Joinery Factory Manager

to oversee our joinery production operations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of factory processes, woodwork, furniture finishing, painting, polishing, and managing factory staff. This role is vital for maintaining high standards of quality, production efficiency, and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the joinery factory (woodwork, painting, polishing, assembly, etc.) Supervise and coordinate with carpenters, painters, polishers, and helpers Ensure that production timelines and quality standards are met Monitor raw material usage, inventory, and procurement needs Implement and enforce safety procedures and factory discipline Coordinate with project/site teams for job requirements and delivery schedules Report production updates and manpower performance to management

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the interior design industry is essential. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to the workplace. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and management. Ability to motivate and lead a team while promoting a positive working environment.

Requirements:

Education:

Matric / Intermediate (Required); Technical diploma is a plus

Experience:

Minimum 7-10 years in a joinery factory with strong supervisory/managerial experience Strong knowledge of

joinery works, wood finishing, painting, and polishing

Good leadership skills and ability to manage large teams Familiarity with machinery and joinery tools Ability to read basic technical drawings is preferred Must be organized, responsible, and able to work under pressure
