Joinery Factory Coordinator overseeing all carpentry and painting work within our company. This position requires excellent coordination skills to liaise between office management, drafting, carpentry fabrication, and final painting and finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and painting, exceptional organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure top-quality workmanship before delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all stages of the joinery process, including drafting, carpentry fabrication, painting, and finishing.
- Act as the main point of contact between office management, drafting teams, and production staff.
- Creating cutting lists from drawings to be given for production.
- Schedule and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
- Monitor the progress of projects and ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control checks at various stages of production to guarantee the highest level of workmanship.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the production process.
- Implement and uphold safety procedures and protocols within the factory.
- Provide leadership and support to the production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or coordinator role within a joinery, carpentry, or woodworking environment.
- Strong understanding of carpentry fabrication, painting, and finishing processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with relevant tools, equipment, and software used in joinery and carpentry.
- Supervisor: 5 years (Preferred)
