Job Description
We are seeking a skilled
Joinery Estimator
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in estimating costs for bespoke joinery projects, including kitchens, doors, cabinetry, and interior fit-outs. You will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, liaising with suppliers, reviewing technical drawings, and supporting project planning to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery projects based on drawings and specifications. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Review technical drawings and project requirements for accurate estimations. Assist project managers with budgeting, tracking, and reporting. Ensure all estimates are realistic, feasible, and in line with company standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Joinery Estimator or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of joinery materials, processes, and costing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software (AutoCAD or similar is a plus). Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills.
