to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects. This role requires a deep understanding of joinery processes, materials, and manufacturing methods, with the ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare detailed cost plans and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. Liaise with clients, architects, suppliers, and internal departments to gather project requirements and specifications. Prepare and submit detailed quotations and tender submissions within required deadlines. Identify and assess material, labor, and time requirements for each project. Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing. Participate in project handovers, providing clear documentation and support to the production and project management teams. Maintain an organized database of estimates, suppliers, and pricing information.

Requirements:

Proven experience (3+ years) as an Estimator within the joinery, cabinetry, store displays, or fit-out industry. Strong knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and production methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and specifications. Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Excel, Bluebeam, or industry-specific programs). Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

Degree or diploma inCivil or related field. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and workshop operations. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus. Experince in procurement and purchase.
