Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Joinery Estimator

with strong experience in joinery production and estimation within the UAE interior fit-out sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately pricing joinery and interior works, ensuring competitive and profitable tenders, and supporting project execution through detailed cost plans and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and fit-out works. Analyze material, labor, production capacity, and subcontracting requirements to develop accurate cost breakdowns. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and ensure accurate pricing. Prepare tender documents, technical and commercial submissions, and cost comparisons. Collaborate with design, production, and project teams to identify value-engineering solutions and cost-saving opportunities. Maintain updated knowledge of market rates for joinery raw materials, finishes, hardware, and labor. Support senior management during tender clarifications, negotiations, and client presentations. Ensure timely submission of bids and prepare comprehensive handover documentation for the operations and production teams. Monitor cost performance and assist in post-tender evaluations as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree/diploma in

Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field

.

5 -7 years of proven experience

in joinery estimation and production within the UAE interior fit-out/joinery industry. Strong understanding of

joinery manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, hardware, and production methods

. Proficiency in

estimation software, MS Office (Excel & Word), and AutoCAD

. Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
